Any SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) calculator identifies a consumer’s or a student’s average academic performance for a certain semester based on the grades obtained in classes as well as on the credit hours. SGPA = (Grade point earned in each course x credit hours of each course) / Total credit hours Out of the above two methods of calculating GPA, the first one is preferred when marking schemes are standardized while the second one is preferred when marking schemes are different.
